The mission of Poise Dog Training is to offer professional help in addressing and positively modifying your dog’s unwanted behaviours without the use of fear. Dog training is a critical part of creating – and maintaining - the balanced and obedient dog with whom you want to share your life and home!
The behaviour consultation is conducted in your home and will last 1 hour approximately. You present the problem and I will identify the cause. I will then help you understand why your dog is misbehaving, and I will demonstrate the methods needed to modify your dog’s behaviour.
Following the consultation, further advice can be acquired via phone or email and follow-up sessions can be arranged.
The initial 60-minute obedience session will be conducted in your home, where I can get to know you and your dog and begin training. Poise obedience training covers a broad array of commands that every dog should know. Some of these commands include the following:
Attention to name, recall, sit stay, down stay, lead training.
If you decide to continue with one-on-one Poise obedience training, 1-hour lessons can be scheduled in your home, before progressing to a local park or public setting.
Poise dog training offers one to one puppy training and advice in the comfort of your home. In this 2-hour session we will work on all common puppy issues – including chewing, hand mouthing, nipping/biting, toilet-related problems.
Other skills taught include: The sit, coming back when called, body language, how to greet people without jumping up, crate training.
1-Hour In-Home Consultation: £50 (follow-up advice via phone or email)
1-Hour Follow-up Sessions: (block booking available) £35.
In-Home, One on One Obedience Training; Progressing to Local Parks, Public Areas.
Initial 60-minute Lesson £40; then 1-hour Lessons at £35.
2-hour In-Home Session: £100 (follow-up advice available via phone or email).
